1967 Ford Mustang Additional Info: 1967 Mustang Fastback, factory S code big block car. 527 all aluminum side oiler with TKO 5 speed. I've owned this car for the past 9 years. Over the past 2 years it has had a complete restoration by a professional shop known for their show winning Mustangs.

Sep 28, 2009 · I think with a Ford FE the only sure way is to measure.I once had a block with those markings but don't remember if it was a 427 or a 390.I personally think that the 66-427 marking is a later model of the block and if so then it should have cross-bolts and screw in freeze plugs and side -oiler if it is indeed a 427.My 2 cents.
