This module works like a combination of the tap and macvlan modules. We already explained what the tap module does.
May 05, 2015 · As far as I'm aware, the reset problems on AMD cards is limited to Bonaire and Hawaii based cards. A workaround for this went into QEMU after the 2.3 release. It's not 100% effective, but it provides substantially improved behavior compared to previous. See commit 5655f931abcf in qemu.git for this workaround.

qemu, libvirt and virt-manager. In arch it’s as simple as: sudo pacman -S qemu libvirt virt-manager. The last configuration step before jumping into the gui is changing qemu.conf as needed. In /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf change the permissions to be: user = “root” group = “kvm” (exactly as shown). sudo nano /etc/libvirt/qemu.conf
